Care and FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is orgonite?
Orgonite is a handmade mix of resin, metal shavings and crystals, usually cast in a mould. It is inspired by Wilhelm Reich's ideas about "orgone". It is a craft tradition, not a science: orgone is not recognised by mainstream science. We make our pieces as decorative resin art.
Is every piece really one of a kind?
Yes. We never make the same piece twice. Each one has its own serial number, for example AEA-CB-2026-0001.
How do I buy a piece?
Not yet. Prices are being set. For now, design a piece in the builder, add it to your enquiry list and send it to us. We will reply by email.
How long does a custom build take?
We will give you an estimated date with your design summary. Custom Pieces are quote only.
Do you ship abroad?
Please ask through the contact form. Supplied 2 m cloudbuster pipes can only be sent within the UK.
How should I care for resin and copper?
Keep resin out of long periods of strong direct sunlight and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Bare copper darkens over time; a lacquered finish slows this.
Are your pieces safe around children?
They are decorative pieces, not toys. Small pieces and pendant cords can be a choking risk, so keep them away from young children and pets.
Do your pieces do anything?
They are decorative art. We make no claim that our pieces have any medical, therapeutic or other physical effect.
Our pieces are decorative art. We make no health, medical or weather claims. Orgonite is a craft tradition inspired by the ideas of Wilhelm Reich, which mainstream science does not recognise.
